Many of these harmonies and textures were born as emotional responses to the everyday events of my life. Navigating grad school in social work in my mid-30s, being a present and sensitive father and partner, and trying to maintain a healthy spirit and mind. As in previous releases I view these tracks as journal entries, moments where I was able to in some little way translate my emotional experiences into sound. By putting those sensations in a place where I can step back and listen to them, I am able to process them in a different way and, often times, find healing. If this music does anything, I hope that it helps you find healing in your own ways.

Additionally, with the transition away from eurorack I've been inspired oftentimes to think of pieces within the context of video game music, so several of these tracks were developed thinking of them as inclusions on imaginary OSTs.

Most tracks primarily feature the Sequential Prophet 10 Rev 4, with the exception of track 6 which is a recording of my last eurorack performance before parting ways with the format, and were composed and performed between October of 2022 and January of 2023. Pedals from Fairfield Circuitry, Hologram Electronics, and Strymon Engineering were used liberally throughout, with some multitracking done directly on 1/4" tape and the rest done in Ableton Live where final mixing and *cough* mastering *cough* was done.
